Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Huntsville, AL
Canvas, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator! The Project Coordinator will assist the Program Manager, Team Leads, and the Project Controls and Contracts team in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects with direct support to the project team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating project schedules and resources while assisting in the control of project information.You will also interact with key stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of project milestones and contract deliverables. The Project Coordinator is also responsible for monitoring project progress, and identifying potential risks or issues in the lower subtasks of the project, allowing the Program Manager to focus on overall project health and customer engagements.
Duties:
Provideadministrative support to the Project Manager as needed.Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to ensuretimelydelivery of project milestones and contract deliverables.Organize and coordinate monthly status reports (MSRs) from Team Leads and Subcontractors. Ensure that MSRs are correct andaccurateprior to delivery to Contracts Team for complete and concise distribution.Work with Project Controls and Contractsteamto create ROMS, prepare justifications for realignment, and extensions.Assistin the development of project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline.Communicatewith key stakeholders, including team members, customers, and vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues that may impact project delivery.Develop and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, status reports, and project schedules.Assistin the preparation of project reports and presentations for senior leadership.Manage project change requests and ensure they are properly documented and approved.Ensureprojectdeliverables are completed on time and within budget.Conduct project status meetings, track action items, and follow up on issues.Required Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline.A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; DoD experience preferred.Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Organizational, time management, and meeting facilitation skills.Transparency with task completion, setbacks, updates, and suggestions to improve established processes.Ability to work efficiently independently and with a team.Clearance Level: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance.
