  We have a new opportunity for a Project Controls Staff Accountant who is highenergy and has a very good understanding of project accounting (preferablyin an engineering or consulting firm). You must be analytical, a problemsolver, and able to work independently. The work wedo is interesting, challenging and wide-ranging in nature, and so is ourclient base.Detailed Description:In this role you will provide financial assistance and support to the regionalaccounting teams relating to project setup, revenue recognition, andcontract administration. This position is assigned to the finance andadministration department and has reporting responsibility to the SeniorManager Accounting-Ops.Review and approve project setups for adherence to contract terms, forexample:

  Labor and expense billing ratesEnsuring application of 0% labor and expense billing rates for non-billablephasesAppropriate work breakdown structure and project attributesBudgeted cost and effort amountsBudget reallocationsAppropriate opening and closing of phases to charges and transfersSigned contract values, to be referenced on invoicingAccurate currency and company entityReview and approve Invoice Group setups and updates to ensure accurate andefficient billing, including:

  Fee typeBilling ClientBilling AddressRetainage %Invoice templateTaxesInvoice commentsInvoice contact informationManage and monitor integration of data into the accounting system uponapprovalDesired Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experiencewith finance and accounting classes or trainingTwo plus years of job-related experienceExperience in invoicing, revenue recognition, contract interpretation,and project accountingProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and OutlookFamiliar with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Consulting engineering environment experience strongly preferredSalary Range:Theanticipatedstarting payrange for this position is based onthe employee's primary work location and maybemore or lessdependinguponskills, experience,and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.Location A: $57,000- $77,000Location B: $62,000- $85,000
