Project Controls Engineer - Indianapolis, IN
We are actively hiring 2 Project Controls Engineers to support a high profile project taking place in Lebanon, IN! These candidates will have the ability to work with the Owners' Rep team for a 2-3 year engagement that will support one of the largest economic developments in state history. This will be one of the largest scopes or work the project owner has completed, so while this team is well-versed in Project Controls, they are hiring additional support to avoid any potential pitfalls and inflated costs on this job. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates to gain competitive experience within Pharma and Tech, especially as it relates to construction services for growth and expansion in those industries.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Scheduling using the Critical Path Method (CPM)
Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) for Project needs
Calculate Risk, Risk Management, and Time-Phased Cost Forecasts
Invoice Subcontractors and Manage Change Orders
Produce the Project Cost, Progress Reports, and Project Control Execution Plan updates for Project Manager and Client
Conduct Financial Feasibility Studies for Development Projects
Provide Cost Estimates, Cost planning, and Cost management
Analyze Terms and Conditions in relevant Contracts
Analyze and Prepare RFP's and Bids
Tender Management, including: Preparation of Bills of Quantities, Contract Conditions, and Assembly of Tender Documents
Take note of changes made to documents and project needs, and adjust the budget accordingly
Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets and other documentation as needed
Predict potential risks in the project and take precautions to mitigate them
Forecast the costs of different materials needed for the project
Reinstatement Cost Assessment for Insurance Purposes
Contract Management and provide Contractual Advice
Claims and Dispute Management
Valuation of Construction Work
Lifecycle Costing Analysis
Job Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Project Controls, Cost Engineering, Quantity Surveyor, or Contract Manager
Experience on Projects over $500 Million to $1 Billion in Scope
Experience in Cost Management and Document Control
Experience in Forecasting and Cash Flow
Experience in Pivot Tables with Excel
Preferred but Not Required - Degree in Engineering or Construction
Preferred but Not Required - Pharma or Industrial Construction
Preferred but Not Required - MEP or E&I Experience
Preferred but Not Required - PMP Certification
Additional Information:
This candidate will get to work with one of the largest Contractors within innovating in the Pharma and Tech industries. This company will be interested in retaining top talent once this initial 2-3 year project is complete. Any candidates not kept on staff will have highly competitive and marketable experience to take back to market in a growing industry.
Compensation will range between $35/hour to $67/hour, depending on specific candidate's relevant experience.
Per Diem may be offered, depending on candidate's location, relevant experience, and all-in compensation.
Candidates will receive 2 weeks of PTO and 10 paid holidays.
Candidates are expected to sit onsite 5 days per week.
