　　Role Overview

　　The Project Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This position requires a candidate with a strong accounting background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　Oversee and manage the financial aspects of multiple projects concurrently.Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance to ensure alignment with company goals and client expectations.Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting on project profitability.Implement and maintain effective cost control measures for projects.Analyze cost variances, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.Collaborate with project managers to review and validate project costs.Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for each project, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Communicate financial information to project stakeholders and management as needed.Generate and review project invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Coordinate with project managers to obtain necessary billing information and resolve any billing discrepancies.Monitor and track client payments, addressing any overdue accounts.Work closely with project managers, procurement, and other departments to gather financial data and ensure alignment with project goals.Communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.Participate in project meetings to provide financial insights and support decision-making.Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.Maintain company confidentiality at all times.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications

　　Bachelors degree in Accounting, or related field, required.2+ years experience in project accounting or related experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong understanding of project accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.The salary range starts at $65,000.
