As part of the Media Operations team in Tech Ops, the Programming Coordinator will support a designated assignment in the contextual advertising space, which is a role that’s run in partnership with NBCU’s Ad Sales team. The coordinator will be asked to do various tasks surrounding the assignment that meets the ad sales team’s requirements. This work is largely specific to maximizing alignment opportunities for sales, with work that is both new and exciting. The coordinator, while being focused on ad sales’ needs, sits with the Media Operations team and will have the opportunity to work on other assignments as bandwidth permits, which largely includes assisting on domestic broadcast as the two areas will cross in scope and content. Tasks may change, and we need a coordinator who can be flexible and wants opportunities to learn. The Programming Coordinator will sometimes be working with information around content that has not yet broadcast, and we expect the coordinator to exercise professionalism and discretion. The coordinator should be comfortable communicating and should be detail oriented. A final note- the scope of the assignment is subject to change if required by the business.
Basic Requirements:
1+ year of experience in a production, post-production or broadcast environment.
1+ years of experience in a job using computers and software applications including outlook applications (excel, outlook)
1+ years in a role requiring effective communication with diverse audiences.
Successfully able to manage a high volume of emails while maintaining timely responsiveness
