  Location: Woking, UK

  Company: Plan International

  The Organisation

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected. Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge. We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 85 years, and are now active in more than 80 countries.

  The Opportunity

Working in 54 developing countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas, Plan International aims to reach as many children as possible, particularly those who are excluded or marginalised, with high-quality programmes that deliver long-lasting benefits. To achieve this Plan International must continue to strengthen and build on its work with partners, mobilise additional resources, and support/ implement high-quality projects and programmes, whilst ensuring accountability throughout.

As the Pillar Coordinator – Business Readiness & Deployment you will provide high-level administration and coordination to the Programme Y.O.D.A (Your Organisations Data & Analytics) team in the delivery of our new business processes supported by new ERP and Monitoring & Evaluation solutions. You will support and get involved in a variety of work around projects and programme management and gain a better understanding of coordinating project delivery controls and processes. You will need to work with the Readiness, Strengthening & Deployment teams (about 10 people) to coordinate and gather relevant information to input into presentations and reports for the Pillar Lead – Business Readiness & Deployment.
