NY1485049Program Planner.Full time, Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm for 50 Forward Mohawk Valley in Utica, NY.50 Forward Mohawk Valley is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to provide programs and services to individuals 50+, empowering them to live healthy and vibrant lives. 50 Forward MV is the sponsor agency for the Oneida County AmeriCorps Seniors Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), the Volunteer Resource Center of Oneida County, Way 2 Go Herkimer and Oneida County and the lead non-profit in the Livable Communities Oneida County initiative.The Program Planner will be committed to achieving the following results:* Oversee and coordinate all larger special events for the organization. -Develop event programs and coordinate all details for the event. -Coordinator vendors, entertainment and supplies for each event. -Coordinate volunteers assisting with events. -Develop marketing materials for the events. -Implement marketing strategies for each event, including social media. -Monitor income and expenses for each event.* Trip Coordination: Develop and implement the trip program to enhance participants social engagement.* Social Enterprises: Develop and implement marketing strategies for all agency social enterprises (Thrift Store and Tool Store).* Digital Programs: -Oversee and update the digital program "AgeNet" for all sites. -Oversee and update the digital signage at Center locations.* Responsible for any other duties as assigned by the Program Director and/or Executive Director.Qualifications:* Associates Degree. * Experience working with volunteers.* Computer and Technical skills, including database management.* Excellent communication/customer service skills.* Valid & Clean NYS Driver's License & own vehicle required.* Travel between 50 Forward locations required.* Highly motivated.* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
