Responsibilities The selectee will serve as a Program Operations Specialist in the International Program Divisions (IPD). Typical work assignments include: Manage two of IPD(s) largest and most complex programs which consists of International Cooperative Administrative Support Service (ICASS) and the Capital Security Cost Sharing (CSCS) program in compliance with the State Department rules and regulations Manage and monitor budget levels and burn rates to ensure efficient and legal use of funding. Serve as the technical authority on the formulation and execution of program annual budget. Develop instructions, planning factors, cost analyses, and budget policy guidance to advise division leadership and foreign office personnel in planning and estimating funding needs. Qualifications You qualify for the GS-14 level (starting salary $139,395.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-13 level performing the following duties: Managing and reviewing operational budgets for a program; Conducting cost data analysis; Evaluating program data to create improvements in operational efficiency; and Advising management on policies and procedures as it relates to program and budgetary requirements; NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible.
