Job Description:
Stryker is seeking to hire a Program Manager, R&D to support Stryker's Neurovascular Division Program Management Office (PMO) in delivering innovative medical devices to market. This role will focus on New Product Development projects for the Stryker Neurovascular Access/AIS Portfolio. This role is onsite or hybrid (spending 3 days per week in the office), at our Fremont, CA, or Salt Lake City, UT location.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Program Manager, New Product Development, you will be in a new and exciting leadership role in a high visibility program in the growing neurovascular space. You will lead a cross-functional project team structured to support your success and critical to achieving Stryker Neurovascular goals as we drive to deliver Complete Stroke Care to customers. Responsibilities of the role include:
Partner with internal cross-functional leaders and external service providers to manage projects in comprehensive product development and lifecycle plans, while driving the alignment of franchise business objectives. Influence and motivate your project teams to develop innovative and best-in-class products for our customers.Support a wide range of projects in various development phases ranging from early proof of concept feasibility to commercialization.Build bridges and negotiate solutions, influencing and communicating within and outside your team, driving decisions across all levels of the organization.Create Procurement Management Plans and be a strategic partner in the selection of development partners.Contribute to the growth and professionalization of our PMO through the standardization of the project management best practices and seeking opportunities to harmonize processes and systems across programs.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree related to Engineering or other related field of study8+ years of work experience
Preferred:
Work experience in medical device and/or biotech fieldMaster's degree in Engineering, Scientific Field or Business AdministrationPMP/PgMP certificationKnowledge of 21 CFR 820.30 - Design Controls and ISO 13485 section 7.3 - Design and DevelopmentA track record of contributing to successful medical device product introduction including at least one significant project from proof-of-concept through pilot productionAdvanced user knowledge of MS Office ® and Project Management tools.Ability to manage budgets, timelines and risks within a contracted commitmentA sense of urgency in driving projects and desire to set ambitious goals and work to help teams meet project scheduleThe ability to analyze complex situations, distill issues, develop insights, challenge the status quo, and synthesize recommendations Strong negotiation to gain consensus and across the organization vertically and horizontally
$115,000 - $232,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
