  Summary:

  The Program Manager, Patient Experience and Process Innovation is responsible for leading programs and initiatives specifically targeting improving the overall patient experience and processes across the organization. This role partners with leaders in the organization to develop and lead Process Improvement strategies through planning, execution, and sustainment in order to support the mission and strategy of the organization and enhance its effectiveness.

  Responsibilities:

  • Drives system and patient experience standards, the service recovery process, and visibly role-modeling desired behaviors to align with providing a quality patient experience.

  • Identifies, supports, and implements sustainable evidence-based practices; collaborate with patient-facing and support departments to consistently deliver patient-centered care.

  • Defines, prepares and delivers aggregate metrics of patient experience. Monitors internal and external benchmarks to assess performance and recommend immediate and mid-term actions for achieving goals.

  • Identifies and resolves issues regarding patient experience involving resource constraints, delays, and conflicts through effective communications and negotiations with process owners and executive sponsors.

  • Develops cross-functional relationships as a champion of Lean processes and quality patient care, Collaborates within assigned unit and the hospital at large to support strategic initiatives and goals.

  • Provides leadership, coaching, and facilitation across multiple departments through Lean transformation efforts.

  • Works collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to make the value streams autonomous in running their departments using a Lean management system.

  Other information:

  Required:

  Bachelor’s Degree

  Three years demonstrated work experience in Process Improvement

  Preferred:

  Master’s degree
