About Program Manager, Global Health & Nonprofit, AWS Global Health and Nonprofits

  Description

The AWS Global Health and Nonprofits (GHN) team seeks a passionate, results-oriented program manager to develop, implement, and enhance executive nonprofit programs. You will work with the sales team to map program design to team-wide executive engagement goals. And help turn ideas into action by finding innovative ways to help advance nonprofit cloud strategies and the goals of our customers. This role will be a key contributor to GHN business development positioning.

Responsibilities include developing strategies and implementing programs for activating the stakeholders required to bring forth solutions, internally and externally. An ideal candidate will have a combination of strong presentation skills; proven record in driving diverse members in a coalition of peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, experience in interacting with executives; strong writing skills; and a natural inclination to articulate and deliver measurable outcomes. Success criteria for this position will be based on scale of executive engagement and impact on sales team attainment. The position also requires a strong acumen around nonprofit operating models.

This is a highly collaborative role working closely with the AWS sales, service and specialist teams, partner and marketing teams to align priorities and work programs, and with any stakeholders necessary for implementation and follow through. The Program Manager will curate content and event programming, develop messaging and contribute to overall AWS GHN strategy. The ideal candidate is an efficient and hands-on strategic thinker, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This role is open to US locations which are located near an AWS Corporate Office.

Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have ten employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally. Instead, we’re happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well-balanced life—both in and outside of work.

Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship.
