HX5 is currently recruiting for a Program Manager to join the team at PetersonSpace Force Base, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop strategies and plans to enable agile software development.Negotiates requirements with Government (ECQR) and stakeholders.Prioritizes requirements for their specific Agile analysis/development team.Attends and participates in contractor Agile events, such as, but notlimited to: Daily scrums, program increment/sprint planning, sprintreviews/demonstrations, and retrospectives.Coordinates events, such as Configuration Control Boards, Integrated TeamTeams, Joint Configuration Control Boards, ensuring key stakeholders arein attendance to make decisions.Communicates expectations with the contractor Agile team, whilecommunicating Agile team performance and progress to ECQR leadership.Coordinates with the ECQR government personnel to accept the work of thecontractor Agile team.Develop and coordinate on design documents, requirements documents,contracts documents, enabling concepts, concepts of operations, systemtraining plans, risk reduction strategies and recommendations, trainingmaterial, test requirements, work specifications, and other technicaldocumentation as requested to execute prototyping activities in support ofGovernment demonstrations.Perform design studies and analysis, performance-based design reviews,high level detailed specification and scope preparation, configurationmanagement and documentation control, fabrication, assembly andsimulation, and modeling.Develop and perform technical insertions and risk reduction strategies,studies and recommendations to mitigate identified risk conditions.Makes recommendations and advises on system development, improvements,optimization, or support efforts.Develop, plan, and implement strategies and analysis foremergency/urgent depot level modifications, technology demonstrations,prototyping, and system test and evaluation activities.Prepare briefings, reports, informational analyses in support of ECQR systems.Coordinate and lead resolution of system issues, deficiencies, softwarebugs, etc. with prime contractors, depot contractors other supportcontractors.Develop and maintain technical requirements documents and architecturedocumentation to execute UEWR programs, upgrades, system modifications andenhancements.Provide expertise, to include proactively identifying and resolvingpotential risks, to program managers at technical interchange meetings,design reviews, program conferences, technical order in-process reviews,VTCs, telecoms, working groups and informational meetings to facilitateinformed decisions.Provide relevant input to acquisition planning activities, upgrades andmodifications and studies and interface with contractor logistics supportpersonnel and product support integrators.Agile software program management experienceTravel to CONUS and OCONUS locations upon government direction.Salary: The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $104,000.Education and Experience:Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:Bachelor's degree in a related field, and five (5) years of programmanagement experience, and five (5) years ofDOD acquisition and programmanagement experiencePosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexiblework schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.Other Position Requirements:Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Pe manent Residency is a requirement for thisposition.Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.Must be able to travel, up to 25% including air travel.DoD PM level III certification, Agile certification (PMI-ACP, SAFeAgilist, Scrum Master Certification CSM) preferred.HX5 offers a competitive salary and benefits package to include:Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance401(k) plan with Company MatchPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffParental LeaveLife InsuranceTuition ReimbursementIdentity ProtectionMedical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsCommuter/Transit Spending AccountsGroup Legal Coverage OptionsPet Insurance
