  POSITION SUMMARY:

  Person in this position will be responsible for providing general support, assistance and janitorial functions for programs and events taking place within the facility. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.

  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  Support all program and facility activities during normal business hours, evenings and weekend hours.

  Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility.

  Provide light janitorial functions including; cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, common areas, classrooms, meeting and event rooms, and sweeping/mopping floors as needed before and after events.

  Stocks appropriate supplies in bathrooms.

  Picks up and empties trash containers.

  Ensure janitorial supplies are dispensed as needed and supplies are appropriately ordered and maintained.

  Perform event room set up and tear down including chairs, tables, av equipment, trash disposal, etc.

  Assist with lifting and hauling supplies and equipment needed for program services and events.

  Ensures work areas are safe and include proper clean-up and disposal of debris.

  Performs minor, routine facility maintenance to include but not limited to replacement of incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, unplugging clogged drains and toilets, and making minor drywall repairs and touch up painting.

  Notifies Operations Manager to request maintenance if something is not working properly.

  Responds to facility emergencies both during and outside normal business hours.

  Assist with front desk responsibilities, greet facility guests and answer phones as needed.

  Receive and log-in all deliveries and notify recipients for pick up.

  Responsible for ensuring all vehicles are inspected and maintained to organization standards; assessing vehicle maintenance needs and coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs with outside vendors.

  Responsible for operating company vehicles for picking up supplies and hauling supplies and equipment as needed.

  Identifies and immediately reports to supervisor any potential safety hazards in the workplace.

  Must Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation; and

  Perform all other duties as assigned

  Qualifications

  ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  Experience and Competencies:

  Basic janitorial level knowledge of facility maintenance.

  Basic computer skills.

  Adherence to the highest standard of ethical conduct,

  Professional appearance and demeanor.

  Education:

  High School diploma or equivalentCertifications/Licenses:

  Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCare’s vehicle insurance is required.

  CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and an annual Tuberculosis test.

  During your tenure with WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you.

  Working Conditions:

  Work is primarily performed in a multi-building campus facility;

  Transportation of staff and supplies in company vehicle; and

  Some outdoor activities may be required.
