WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Volunteer Programs Engagement Director will carry out the enterprise volunteer services strategy, policies and programs. Provide strategic planning, design and implementation support to operations for volunteer management, and ensure that implementation and defined activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD
Individual contributor with strong influential leadership responsibilities. Knowledge expert both within the organization and outside of the organization. Typically participates in industry/knowledge reference groups. Involves mastery of a specialized discipline and thorough understanding of a number of disciplines. May also require development of new solutions for complex projects and will:
1: Provide guidance and consultation on volunteer capacity building, role competency development, needs assessment, planning, recruitment, retention and engagement. Serve as liaison for problem-solving, operational issues and policy matters.
2: Identify volunteer programs and services needs or gaps. Determine and implement appropriate solutions.
3: Serve as a liaison to internal staff, organizations, associations and volunteers and meet with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment of needs and objectives. Monitor and evaluate program activities and data to formulate and implement improvements ensuring program objectives and needs are met. Develop plans and assessment tools.
4: Provide guidance to teams responsible for facilitation of volunteer activities, services, programs and events. Monitor staff development needs and serve as coach and mentor to other volunteer services staff.
5: Monitor plans to ensure they are established, supported and executed.
6: Develop and prepare reports and presentations.
100% Remote- Candidates can live anywhere is the US.

The salary range for this position is ( CO ): $125,000-$145,000

Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
Management Experience: N/A
Skills & Abilities: Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively implement programs. Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively, assimilate information quickly, analyze problems and implement solutions appropriately. Ability to work on a team and independently. Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of staff, volunteers and donors. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training, presentation and negotiating skills. Ability to lead initiatives and guide others to high performance. Expert level knowledge of work and industry, provides innovation solutions and consults on multiple projects and/or initiatives.
*Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
