JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: As an Education ProgramCoordinator II in Academic Affairs you will be working closely withoffice leadership, identify and implement enrichment opportunities andpathway programs and strategies that support student populations underrepresented in Medicine (URiM) and prepare them for health sciencescareers. Supports education objectives by tracking and communicatinginformation related to department pathway programs. This role alsoinvolves assisting in the development of education materials perinstitution requirements and coordination of office marketing materials.Primary Functions Implement curriculum for the summer pathway programs;collaborate on the development of program materials includingeducational materials, monitor student progress and academic standing inpathway program and parent engagement. Support program outreach,recruitment, and admissions Coordinate assessment and evaluationactivities for students in programs. Develop annual outreach andmarketing plan. Create brochures, flyers, handbooks, web-page, and othermarketing materials to communicate events and maximize event attendancethroughout the year. Work with program leaders to maintain database(s)and files to track, schedule, and record activities of various outreachprograms. Maintain program timeline including tracking deadlines andprogram components. Assist in recruitment and training of pathwayprogram participants, preceptors, instructors, and speakers. Collaboratewith team members and other departments to organize internal andexternal meetings, including shadowing opportunities, exposureactivities, campus tours and outreach activities for K -12 andundergraduate groups. Collect, analyze, and disseminate program data.Report program data and progress to program stakeholders. Participate onappropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program andprofession. Coordinate and manage program outreach activities includingacting as a liaison with community organizations, faculty,administration, other departments, affiliates, outside institutions andnational organizations to maintain strategic relationships on campus andin the surrounding community. Support office events, programming, andactivities which may include but are not limited to student-centeredcommunity-building events, community outreach opportunities, educationalexperiences, communications, and other office pathway programsthroughout the year.
