JOB REQUIREMENTS: Purpose of Position: Provide administrative andclerical support for Meadowood Neighborhood Center and for year-roundMSCR community programs and staff. Essential Duties andResponsibilities: Develop thorough understanding of MSCR programs (e.g.season calendars, facilities, fees, registration procedures). Serve aslead clerical support for Meadowood Neighborhood Center and year-roundsoccer programs, including instruction, leagues and camps. Prepare,distribute and track pre-employment paperwork and contract agreementsfor part-time and seasonal staff. Process employee payroll. Maintain andorganize databases of seasonal employees and volunteers. Collect anddeposit registration fees daily, manage payments and past due fees.Communicate with and respond to public, staff, and supervisors viaphone, email, website postings, mailings and walk-ins (questions,provide directions, schedule changes/cancellations). Provide customerservice, information, and assistance to the public. Process programregistrations using Active.net, TeamSideline and Google documents.Prepare correspondence, memos, forms and program reports. Maintainaccurate records and assist with data collection. Prepare materials andinformation for the MSCR program guide. Regular communication withsupervisor/staff in a timely manner. Daily reception duties at MeadowoodNeighborhood Center. Responsible for daily opening of MNC, serving as acommunity resource to answer questions regarding MSCR programs, MMSDprograms and services. Provide clerical support as requested by MSCRSupervisor and Specialists. Work as part of the MSCR Community Team andSports Team and assist with other duties as assigned in that department.Actively participate in team and department meetings and professionaldevelopment. Other duties as assigned. Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesOrganizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, workunder tight deadlines, use effective time management, and work withinterruptions. Ability and comfort level with learning newtechnology/software and HR processes. Ability to maintain accurate andconfidential records. Ability to work independently and with efficiency.Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and/or recordkeepingpractices. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Qualifications: Three years of successful office experience or acombination of experience and formal training equivalent to three years.Ability to proficiently use a PC, and software including Microsoft Word,Excel, Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive Excellent problem solvingability. Ability to communicate with a diverse clientele and staff in acourteous and professional manner, both oral and written. Experienceworking cross-culturally and/or commitment to work towards improvingone\'s own cultural competence, i.e., valuing difference/diversity,recognizing personal limitations in one\'s skills and expertise andhaving the desire to learn in these areas. Desired QualificationsExperience working in database systems. Examples include: ACTIVENET,MUNIS, TeamSidelines, & Children\'s Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program.Knowledge of MSCR and MMSD policies Ability to work with minimalsupervision. Bilingual in Spanish. First Aid and CPR certified within 90days of hire.
