Production PlannerPosition Overview:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our dynamic team. As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining an uninterrupted flow of materials to meet production targets. Your expertise in planning, coordination, and problem-solving will contribute directly to our company's success and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to create comprehensive production plans that align with company goals and customer demands.Develop and maintain production schedules, taking into account factors such as equipment availability, lead times, and workforce capacity.Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to prevent shortages or excesses, while optimizing carrying costs.Identify potential production bottlenecks and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and maintain seamless operations.Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing of materials, considering cost-effectiveness and quality standards.Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including work orders, material requisitions, and production progress reports.Communicate effectively with various departments to relay production updates, schedule changes, and any potential disruptions.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, offering insights and suggestions to enhance production processes, resource utilization, and overall efficiency.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, such as on-time delivery, production yield, and adherence to production schedules.Stay current with industry trends and best practices in production planning and supply chain management to drive innovation and optimization.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
