　　Production Operator - Philadephia, PA - Day Shift

　　Under minimal direction, theProduction Operatorindependently operates production equipment in various areas of manufacturing, and is able to fill in for other positions in the plant.

　　Responsibilities & Expectations:

　　Read, understand, and follow batch tickets.Combine ingredients in designated sequence.Provide samples to lab.Pack product into designated containers.Report near miss incidents and improvement opportunities.Waste disposal and equipment and plant cleaning.Operate forkliftLabel containers.SAP inventory look-up.Gather and weigh ingredients. (Scale operation)Operate and trouble shoot mixing and dust collector equipment.SAP CORK duties.Preliminary quality checks.Maintain a clean work area and work safely.Participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs, training sessions and assist w/training others.Follow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position duties.

　　Education & Qualification:

　　High school diploma or equivalent required.Computer efficiency required.Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of safety.Possess sound verbal and written communication skills.Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is a plus.BENEFITS
