OMG RoofingProducts is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of value-addedcomponents for the commercial roofing industry. The FastenMasterDivision manufactures and markets innovative, premium qualitywood-to-wood fasteners that are engineered to enable professionalcontractors to complete building projects safer, faster, and easier. TheProduction Manager drives the efficiency and effectiveness of ourproduction teams through continuous improvement activities, the latesttechnology and strong workforce recruitment and retention. This keyposition will work with supervisors and group leaders to manage theday-to-day operation of our OlyFlow, PowerGrip Assembly and RhinoBondAssembly and Repair teams, while also supporting the development andimplementation of our overall Operations strategic plans tied to safety,production, quality, continuous improvement, and cost. Key to success isstrong leadership, advanced understanding of lean manufacturing as atool to improve performance, and the ability to translate demandforecasts into effective production plans. Position RequirementsBachelor\'s degree in related field or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience. 5+ years\' success driving targetedmanufacturing results in leadership role. Demonstrated success utilizinglean tools to achieve efficiency and productivity goals. Strongunderstanding of manufacturing planning and execution tools, includingexperience with capital improvement. Ability to develop existing andfuture leadership bench strength using company talent management toolsand programs. Strong interpersonal skills, seasoned judgment and \"handson\" leadership style. Capable of overcoming obstacles and completingassignments in a timely manner. Ability to motivate individuals andteams to perform at high levels to meet or exceed goals. Strong PCskills including experience with MS Office Suite and enterpriseresourcing planning tools (QAD preferred). Ability to read and interpretdocuments such as drawings, specifications, operating manuals, andcompliance materials. Strong communication skills that result in clearunderstanding of intended meaning. Positive attitude, good judgement,and excellent time management skills. Strong sense of responsibility andownership. Positive can-do attitude.
