About the Position: Serves as ACS Specialist at the installation level with professional and technical responsibility for assisting with assessing, tailoring and prioritizing ACS service delivery in support of local military and family needs. Responsibilities Provide referrals for specialized support and follows up on actions to ensure appropriate support to Surviving Families that are part of the SOS Community. Interview, counsel, and advise individuals and families on all facets of the ACS. Develop plans that meet both long and short range goals for units and their deployments with Family Readiness Groups. Design and establish marketing and public relations strategies. Conduct unit needs' assessments and compiles and analyzes data for trainings. Implement, prepare and deliver briefings and trainings, presentations . Use Social Media for virtual trainings. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
