Saputo has a strong history in Wisconsin and are proud tobe expanding our footprint in this area. In this role, you provideleadership and direction to the plant in areas of responsibility thatinclude administration, production, processing, packaging, scheduling,sanitation, quality, purchasing, safety and environmental. Working withthe Plant Manager and/or Operations Manager, the Production Manager isthe liaison between the plant and other departments includingDistribution, Quality, Maintenance and State and Federal RegulatoryPersonnel. This position is available on 1st shift. How You Will MakeContributions That Matter * Directs the overall activities of themanufacturing facility to ensure customer orders are received,scheduled, and produced at the lowest possible cost to meet thecustomer\'s requirements while maintaining established safety andquality standards. * Analyzes plant operations and key metrics toensure that the facility maintains high quality and safety standards tocontinue to maintain our leadership position in the industry. * Isresponsible for expense management and control, including shrink, laborand overhead costs utilizing Continuous Improvement techniques and aManagement Operating Structure (MOS). * Analyze downtime througheffective root cause analysis to continuously improve operationalefficiencies and processes. * Ensures that Standard OperatingProcedures are developed and maintained for all aspects of the business.* Cooperates in a cross-functional manner as a change agent with alldepartments within the Company. * Ensures products meet regulatorystandards. * Assists Technical Support staff on resolution of customercomplaints and issues of product quality. * Engages in the typicalresponsibilities of a manager requiring planning, training, evaluating,organizing, integrating, and delegating. * Provides management ofemployees directly or through supervisors to ensure effective selection,retention, development, disciplinary action and performance management.* Supports internal/external audits. * All other responsibilitiesassign by supervisor.
