The Production Lead will work in thedepartment as a liaison between Supervision and the productionenvironment. When not performing the duties below, the employee will bemanufacturing product for the department to achieve on time orders. Thisposition will not have employee corrective action responsibility orleading company policy deployment. A successful candidate will beresponsible for: Oversee the assigned production area and give directionto meet established specifications for quality, functionality, and leadtime to attain on-time delivery goals and efficiency Assist in theassembly of department products/equipment Work with PurchasingDepartment to order materials Support metrics, expectations, andaccountabilities of department Identify continuous improvementopportunities and assist with training new team members Ensure all rulesand practices are adhered to such as to ensure a safe manufacturing andoperating environment Accurately maintain work schedule and Avanteadministration Schedule daily work activities to include: Completingpick list and turn in for accurate and timely inventory transactionsPrint job packets containing work orders and pick lists Assist OrderPickers with picking parts for jobs per the pick list and deliver to theappropriate work cell as needed Work with HR on any employee relationsconcerns in the absence of the Department Supervisor Maintain a cleanand overall safe facility, ensuring procedures are being followed asexpected and training carried out for the protection of each employeeand the company Assure compliance is consistent with OSHA, ISO, andother regulatory agencies Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) andprocedures are being followed Maintain high quality standards for allgoods with a continuous focus on providing outstanding customer servicePromotes a cohesive and positive team...
