　　Responsibilities

　　Assists production supervisor to cultivate a positive departmental moraleincluding an uncompromising culture of meeting safety, quality andproduction planPerforms typical supervisory duties including fairly enforcing companypolicies on absenteeism, tardiness, and shift start-up; utilizingestablished disciplinary procedures to handle problems fairly andtransparently; documenting, conducting, and submitting annualperformance reviews; maintaining employee attendance and safety recordsConducts or assists with training for new employees, monthly safetytopics, job specific training, annual refresher training, or any otherrequired training; and maintains proper documentationExecutes production process procedures for the consistent operation and outputof each production-related work centerHandles day-to-day staffing needs on assigned shifts to efficiently meetproduction targetsGathers data and daily reports as neededProvides feedback to maintenance on equipment and operating issuesLeads by example, provides hands on training of workers at the stationsCommunicates clearly with all staffEnsures equipment is used properlyEnsures all aspects of the facility, procedures, and processes comply withthe OSHA 119.1910 Process Safety Management regulationMaintains supplies and uniforms issued by the companyAdheres to all safety rules and policiesEnsures workplace remains clean, neat, and organized at all timesMaintains accurate time card and paperwork as requiredPossesses integrity and a positive work ethicChecks for quality assurance

　　Qualifications

　　High school diploma or equivalentWorking knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and other safety, environmental, andgovernmental standardsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work as partof a teamMust have knowledge of cylinder refurb operations and processes at all workstationsMust be punctual and arrive at assigned time

　　Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanentresident, or have authorization to work in the United States
