JOBSUMMARY The Production Handler - Coatings Removal works as a member ofthe Coatings Removal team adhering to productivity standards inaccordance with company prescribed safety and quality. Monday - FridayMonday - Friday 1st Shift 2nd Shift 06:00am - 02:30pm 03:00pm - 11:30pmDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Prioritizing daily tasks * Loads andunloads ovens and tanks * Processes product though chemical dip systemand other specialized coatings removal dipping operations * Packagesproduct for shipment * Complies with the benchmark processing times *Rotates parts from the stripping process to the wash bay, RP, dry-offovens, and packing area * Power wash parts and products with a 3000psipower washer * Load hand baskets and rotate parts from one basket tothe other * Identify and sort parts to download into containers *Reposition parts * Complete wash logs, oven logs, and weight charts *Operate scales * Start burn off oven and dry-off oven * Participatesin continuous improvement activities * Adhere to all safety policiesand procedures * Ensuring highest level of safety standards *Effectively, timely, and respectfully communicate and interact withother employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, andcustomers * General housekeeping of the plant and surrounding areas *Comply with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements andsafe handling practices as required from Safety Data Sheets (SDS) andcompany procedures * Follow WHMIS, MSDS and all other safety trainingrequirements and procedures * Follow all government and regulatoryrequirements when handling and transporting chemical materials *Fostering a positive work environment * Regular and sustainedattendance * Perform other duties as assigned or needed QUALIFICATIONS* 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience * 1-2 years ofsit-down forklift experience [prior certification preferred] *Ability to read and interpret documents (i.e., safety rules, operating,etc.) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability tocommunicate well with the Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager,employees, contractors, vendors, customers, and senior leaders. *Proficient with writing routine reports and correspondences * Basicmathematical aptitude (i.e., fractions, decimals, compute rate, ration,and percents, interpret bar graphs, etc.) * Experience troubleshootingand solving practical problems with a variety of concrete variables insituations where only limited standardization exists * Experience withwarehouse management software * Proficient in Microsoft Suite - Word,Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics [D365] * Demonstrated experience adheringto deadlines * Knowledge of tools and equipment * Excellent customerservice skills * Working knowledge of ISO, OSHA, and EPA regulationspreferred * A professional and positive attitude * Able to lift 50lbs. * Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle,or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel,crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. * Standing and /or walking aminimum of 6 hours of an 8-hour shift. * Specific vision requirementsinclude close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception,and ability to adjust focus. * Experience in the Coatings Removalindustry a plus! EDUCATION REQUREMENTS High School Diploma or GEDequivalent OTHER INFORMATION Frequent exposure to wet and humidconditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles; toxic or causticchemicals; extreme heat (non-weather) and loud noise levels.
