We are looking for a Production Costing and Inventory Evaluation Specialist, to join our Group Administration Services unit. The role will report to the Production Costing and Inventory Evaluation Manager and it will be based in Parma HQ. The role
Oversee the correct application and governance of the Production Management rules and procedures, through the centralized process, to satisfy the Business requirements and guarantee the correct cluster / pole standard cost and variance management, during the BDG / RF / MYE / LE and actual monthly process. Support the management of the FIFO for Finished Goods (Companies in SAP), providing the correct entries for Inventory Revaluation. Guarantee the correct alignment for the balance sheet and profit & loss related to the Inventory entries. Key Accountabilities
In accordance with the month end closure calendar, to assure the correct FG FIFO entries for all the managed companies (Managerial + Statutory) and assure the correct re-open FIFO evaluation in line with the new products hierarchies (ITEM / Product Name / Category Qualification / Sub Brand / etc.).
Assure the correct STD cost and Management Transfer Price (MTP) calculation during the budget and actual monthly reporting, managing the Product Costing process in SAP.
Assure the compliance to centralized management of SAP master data and the alignment between the R/3 and BI closing.
In accordance with the year-end closure calendar, to assure the correct LIFO evaluation for Barilla G. e R. Fratelli S.p.A.
Assure the correct information for EPM system during the monthly closures (master tables for cluster/pole/mkt, missing clusters).
Support USA colleagues with reference to the budget process.
Assure the yearly / provisional calculation of the maintenance allowances for Italy, France, Sweden and Germany.
Guarantee the appropriate changes in master data of promo items after their release.
Guarantee information support to KPMG Auditors after the year-end closure (variance calculations / stock evaluation).
Guarantee the monthly / yearly information requested by ISTAT / AIDEPI (production by category).
Requirements
University degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics.
An overall experience of 2+ years in similar/accounting roles.
Good knowledge of English; the knowledge of Italian would be preferred.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and SAP modules.
Good communication skills.
Work cooperatively and effectively in teams to achieve the goals.
Ability to work on multi-country / multi-plant data, given the high complexity context.
Ability to learn fast and interest in finding ways to improve the current best practices.
Reliability, data accuracy and respect of deadlines.
