  Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Production Controller to work onsite at our Engineered Polymer Products (EPP) division, located in Jacksonville, Florida.

  Key Responsibilities:

  In this role, as the Production Controller you will have well established, solid skills in planning and/or scheduling. You will prepare production reports, compiles information, arranges for delivery and shipments maintains optimal inventory levels and liaises with procurement focal to support production, product transfer and/or product introduction. You will have advanced knowledge of the production control function. You understand that the problems you will face are difficult and may be complex. You will work autonomously with limited supervision. You will have a strong sense of urgency with the ability to interact and influencing others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

  Position is onsite at Busch Drive location in Jacksonville FL.

  Essential Responsibilities:

  Responsible for the creation of the production plan or build sequence based on customers requirements and/or business direction.

  Leads lean activities towards material flow and presentation (PFEP).

  Drive actions to maintain inventory management KPI's and E&O inventory of designated cell /area.

  Prepare, maintain and analyze production reports in order to identify and resolve performance problems.

  Release production orders, managing raw material availability.

  Manage and communicate demand vs capacity conflicts.

  Conducts cycle count and wall to wall processes to maintain accurate inventory controls.

  Responsible for the system traceability in regards delivery, assembly or distribution of material to support production.

  Actively involved in resolving material problems.

  Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

  Demonstrate the use of key business processes and functional concepts necessary to succeed in the role.

  Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.

  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  5+ years' experience with advanced knowledge and experience of various MS Office products.

  5+ years' experience with SAP knowledge and/or other ERP system experience.

  5+ years experience in Lean Methodologies through continuous improvement events and problem solving skills.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  APICS CPIM certification strongly preferred.

  Experience working in R&D and low volume/long production lead time manufacturing environments.

  MS Project experience.

  SAP / ERP Systems.

  Time management and organizational management skills.

  The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

  This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
