JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary Set up, operate, and tend molds tocreate elements for a wide variety of shoes. Coordinate with otherdepartments to ensure machines work properly and accurate run of molds.Keep track of daily output requirements. Responsibilities Repair and waxmolds for surface imperfections. Move and position mold sections usinglift tables. Brush wax onto mold sections to facilitate removal ofelements from molds. Lift upper mold sections from lower sections andremove elements. Visually inspect elements to ensure quality. Hangelements on appropriate racks for baking process. Distribute elements toappropriate bins in saw department. Accurately cast molds. Monitortemperature of molds. Monitor pressure gauges of casting machines. Otherduties as assigned. Experience and Skill Required High School Diploma orequivalent. Minimum two years of continuous molding experience. Goodmechanical aptitude. Ability to read precision measuring instruments andlearn computer spreadsheets. Ability to read and interpret productionschedules and issue computer generated reports. Must be detail orientedand possess good communication skills as well as time management skills.Lift up to 50 lbs.
