Accurately, completely fill out required paperwork in a timely JOB SPECIFIC Be able to perform all functions in the chlorine room including: Bleed down Filling Plugging Bag and tagging Must be able to drive Shuttlewagon/Trackmobile and assist in the rail yard as necessary. Inspect chlorine valves as Perform emergency Complete HAZWOPPER training Participate in mandatory spill drills. Prepare hazardous materials for DOT shipment to ensure safe and timely supply of raw materials and finished products. . Understand equipment and process operation to test, repair, inspect and fill hazardous Be able to perform computer functions on Microsoft Word Office experience is preferred. May be asked to perform loading functions in bleach and sulfuric areas. Maintain/monitor plant and work area housekeeping Participate in cycle counts, inventory discrepancies and physical Must be willing to flex between workstations as required and be flexible with working schedule including working weekends and extended hours as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction. Must be able to wear respirator to perform rail car opening and closing duties May be cross trained to fill 2000# cylinders Performs other duties as assigned by supervision. ABOUT YOU High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Minimum of 6 months experience as a chemical operator or equivalent experience required Effective communication and interpersonal skills required Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) complex and/or technical operations and procedures in terms easily understood by non-technical operators required. Ability to safely operate an industrial fork truck required Ability to comply with all mandatory Environmental, Health, & Safety and process specific training and participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team in Level A PPE required. Ability to achieve and maintain 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification required Ability to adjust to work schedule, including weekends and on-call, to meet business need required Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, reaching, and pulling Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs and ladders Ability to wear PPE and equipment such as safety shoes, face shields, safety glasses, safety goggles, hearing protection, gloves and a hard hat; chemical suits and a hair/beard net when required Ability to safely operate an industrial forklift when required Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements (for respirator use, SQF-certified environments, etc.) Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environment l working conditions Willing to work around chemicals and industrial machinery Ref 2024-276 All applications must be received online.
