  Job Description

  We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Product Manager to join our team and drive the adoption, development, and enhancement of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Storage solutions. As an Technical Outbound Product Manager for OCI Storage, you will play a pivotal role in communicating the product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative storage solutions that meet customer needs.

  Responsibilities

  Responsibilities:

  Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

  Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for OCI Storage.

  Cross-functional Collaboration:

  Work closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to align product development with overall business goals.

  Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features based on customer feedback and business impact.

  Technical Expertise:

  Possess deep technical knowledge of storage technologies, data management, and cloud infrastructure.

  Act as a subject matter expert for OCI Storage, staying informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices.

  Market Analysis:

  Conduct market analysis and competitive assessments to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement in OCI Storage offerings.

  Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements related to storage solutions.

  Develop product positioning

  Customer Focus:

  Engage with customers to understand their storage-related challenges and requirements.

  Use customer feedback to drive product improvements and prioritize feature development.

  Customer briefings and assistance

  Create blogs/whitepapers/industry conference presentations

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant technical field, or relevant experience.

  Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager with a focus on storage solutions.

  Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, storage technologies, and data management.

  Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product development initiatives.

  Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Five or more years of technical outbound product management, preferably in enterprise computing, storage, database technologies, cloud infrastructure, and systems (virtualization, storage, networking, OS). Candidates from engineering technical sales may also apply for this position.

  Experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar cloud platforms.

  Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in storage and data management.

  Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only

  Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

  Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

  Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  11 paid holidays

  Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
