Job Description
OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
As part of the Vaccines Marketing, the Product Manager is responsible for developing marketing plans to contribute Dengue Vaccines Launch Plan and establish core processes managing pre and post launch activities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES .
Prepare the Launch Activation Workshop for Dengue Vaccine and be accountable for the MORI wall integrated plan and updates to the launch plan
Update the long and mid range financial forecasts and assumptions in line with market insights
Generate market research that informs the vaccines launch strategy and launch activation of Health care providers and vaccines
Support external advocacy engagements in cooperation with the public affairs team
Validate the vaccines distributor network with help of an external vendor and support the due diligence efforts to qualify and appoint the distributors
Own the Brand planning process including situation analysis and insights into different customer segments, SWOT, Stakeholder maps and strategic imperatives
Own the brand tactic planning to address the various levers originating from the strategic imperatives
Generate competitive analysis and positioning in the market and implications to Dengue Vaccine in conjunction with the VBU teams
Work with cross-functional team to ensure successful omnichannel launch
Work with public affairs on key external engagements and narrative for launch
Represent affiliate in best practice sharing at Area, Regional and global forums
Conduct training and engagement plans for the sales team on the product and communication material closer to launch
Work in close collaboration with supply team (S&OP process) to ensure uninterrupted supply of products as per mid-range forecast
Keeps abreast of changing requirements for health economic data related to vaccines, and proposed immunization recommendations and budgets.
Responsible for working closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure tactics of all functions are in line with business
Recruit and manage external vendors to ensure timely execution of key deliverables
Support other functions as and when required to ensure key business objectives are met within timelines

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or equivalent degree will be plus
Candidate should ideally have 5+ years of experience in Vaccines launch and Marketing , Vaccines sales experience will be an added advantage.
Candidate with experience in launching new innovative products will be an added advantage
Knowledge and understanding of the drug development, regulatory review and commercialization processes.
Experience in successfully representing the commercial perspective during the regulatory & legal review of launch promotional materials.
Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills; able to communicate in a concise, engaging and convincing manner.
Experience in marketing strategy and tactic design with an ability to communicate ideas to internal partners and external agencies.
