DescriptionThis Product Manager will partner with Global and NA Marketing, NA Sales, Scientific and Clinical Affairs and other cross-functional leads. This role requires an understanding of market and customer segmentation, expertise in commercial execution, and ability to assess gaps and/or pain points to propose software products and/or portfolio changes and enhancements.The Product Manager will have direct responsibility for assigned software products, while collaborating with other team members to demonstrate the value of the complete franchise portfolio to all customer key stakeholders and decision makers.Primary Duties
Define the software product strategy and roadmap within the assigned product line(s), including product launches, product revisions and end-of-life timelines and efforts.Collaborate with Global and Regional Marketing on software portfolio development and rationalization, product health, and product life cycle management strategies.Collaborates with marketing lead for Center of Excellence and Center of Reference sites and captures 'voice of customer' for potential software innovation opportunities.Understand the competitive landscape across the software landscape and identifying key differentiators of the portfolio.Deliver a monthly revenue and demand forecast.Understands Voice of Sales (VOS), Voice of Customer (VOC) and supports sales and operations planning (SandOP) and align all functions of the organization to ensure customer service levels and reduced lead times.Responsible for achieving goals, timelines and overcome any tactical issues that arise that are within the scope of marketing.Work closely with all marketing teams to ensure portfolio synergies and alignment on go to market strategies.Support the development and execution of strategic and tactical marketing plans across the franchise portfolio and coordinate the U.S. launch of product updates and upgrades including pricing, positioning, targeting, promotion, sales education and customer rollout.Brief and train the sales and technical teams at routine meetings, along with performing product demonstrations to customers.Complies with company quality management systems, policies and procedures.Assist in the RFP process.Additional duties/responsibilities according to business needs.ExperienceAssociate level 0-3 years' relevant multifunctional commercial experience product management/marketing/sales experience. Software experience in CDSS, LIS, EHR or diagnostics IVD preferred.Mid level-5+ years of relevant multifunctional commercial experience product management/marketing/sales experience. Software experience in CDSS, LIS, EHR or diagnostics IVD preferred.Sr level 7+ relevant multifunctional commercial experience product management/marketing/sales experience. Software experience in CDSS, LIS, EHR or diagnostics IVD preferred.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesKnowledge of software development techniques such as Agile, Waterfall, etcDevelopment or support of CDSS, LIS or EHR software solutionsResults oriented; ability to design scalable solutions to address business questions and/or challenges; self-motivated and organized to successfully complete high-quality work projects...
