About Product Manager, Sales Systems

  Overview

  Topgolf is looking for a Product Manger to help ideate, design, and work with a software development team to enhance the Topgolf user experience. The ideal candidate thrives in an environment where challenged to build never-before realized features that reduce friction and simplify experiences. Bring your curiosity, expertise and passion for delivering a great user experience. You will be collaborating with a close-knit team of engineers, designers, and product managers to build and evolve the next generation of venue technology products for Topgolf.

  Responsibilities

  Work with cross-functional teams such as operations and marketing, as well as other stakeholders, to identify new end user / business problems that could be solved by the team; build the case for new/enhanced features and gain approval from stakeholders

  Create product requirements and documentation using Confluence, and update continuously

  Collaborate closely with engineers, designers and business partners alike to conceptualize features and see them through development, release, and future iterations

  Lead feature kickoffs, as well as facilitate design and API discussions

  Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with overall product strategy

  Participate in the planning of feature release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities

  Qualifications

  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, required

  3+ years Experience in a product role

  2+ years Experience with Agile/Scrum software development projects

  2+ years Creating and documenting software requirements (tools like Confluence, Basecamp, etc.)

  2+ years Experience working directly with UI/UX designers to envision novel features

  1+ years Interpreting, reporting, and decision-making based on analytics (Amplitude, Google Analytics, etc.)

  Strong product management and leadership skills

  Experience defining detailed use cases for engineering and design, and working closely with a team to build features

  Strong communicator who can distill complex topics, and facilitate feedback from various stakeholders

  Technical approach when problem-solving with engineers

  Experience working with distributed team

  Technical background and/or working experience

  Flexibility and ability to handle context shifts

  Extreme attention to detail, driving for pixel perfection

  Highly-motivated self-starter with a passion for making high quality software

  Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  Committed to a great user experience

  Strong sense of ownership and drive

  Positive, enthusiastic attitude with ability to interact with cross-departmental groups

  Travel up to 5% for team offsites.
