SET THE COURSE
This position is responsible for the management of Tommy Bahama’s Retail and Payment IT systems. Responsibilities include system(s) planning, integration, and functionality expertise, along with the management of Retail technology projects. This position will work closely with the Retail Ops teams to advise on and deliver new technology to achieve business goals and with Finance to support Sales Audit functions.
BE THE ISLAND GUIDE
Partner with cross-functional business groups to assess and advise on requirements and feasibility of new Retail technology, with a focus on point of sale and payment systems
Partner with Retail Ops teams to develop multi-year POS and payment technology roadmaps to meet business objectives – including modernization, scalability and PCI/SOX compliance
Manage Retail application upgrades, including POS, Payment Devices, Sales Audit and CRM
Provide High Priority production support for Retail technology applications (Tier 2+); troubleshoot issues in a multi-vendor, multi-application environment; partner with other IT teams to identify root cause and remediation
Produce and maintain technical support documentation for Retail technology and payment systems applications
Manage external software and professional service vendors and associated project budgets for project delivery and application support
Provide supervision and direction to Retail Functional Analyst; administer annual performance evaluations and salary reviews
Perform other duties as needed
ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
8-10+ yrs experience in a Retail IT Product Management, Application Owner or Technical Program Management function
Experience with Retail Point of Sale systems and Payment technologies required
Experience in packaged software selection, implementation, integration and management – including both on premise and cloud-based applications required
Experience with POS hardware, and Windows based POS application management required
Must be able to communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders at different levels of technical competence
Must be able to facilitate effective meetings, including standups, with technical and business teams
Must be able to work collaboratively with business, program management and other technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
Self-motivated to stay abreast of industry relevant technology tools and trends
Service Now, Jira, Confluence experience a plus
Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.
Rate Range: $98,670 - $164,450 annually
