The Product Manager –EntryDesktop WorkstationsGlobal Business Unit (GBU)role willhelpbuildastrategicportfolio ofZ2 Desktop Workstationsolutionsdriven bycustomer insights in afast-movingtechnology and marketenvironment; developing, communicating, and executing a play-to-win strategy; leading across multipleproduct management organizations and RD.
You willserveas focal point to formulate and drive strategies that integrate product, supply and demand knowledge intostrategiclifecycle planningfromproductconcept to end-of-life, gen-to-gen transition management,sales,channels,go-to-market,andcustomer communications.
Leading with ambition,youwill be responsible to crystalize strategies into action by aligning with leaders across the organization, driving our execution plan, mapping the scenarios, andestablishingan operational and communication cadence at all levels of the organization. As a high-energy and resourceful leader, you build a strong network inside and outside the organization as you work in close partnership with key leaders in our product management, engineering, commercial organization, supply chain, and alliances teams – keeping close watch on thecustomer needs, technologyinnovations and constraints, gen-over-gen costs, supplier timelines, and solutions that meet our customer needs. This role will also give you the opportunity to take your creative and storytelling talents to the next level.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop strong customer relationships and act as their advocate within the company, communicating customer feedback, needs and pains through the organization.
Lead theZ2 desktopworkstationsproductmanagement, from analysis, scenario planning across the various teams and ensure alignment with engineering,global regions and markets,commercial organizationproduct and business management, supply chain, procurement, and alliance leaders.
Develop andmaintain roadmaps across the Z2 Desktop Workstations (DTWS) portfolio for future and current platforms with a lifecycle operational view and recommended scenarios.
Define and track key business plan execution and in-market performance metrics to manage the business.
Analyzedata to gain insights into customer engagement and product adoption, using this information to guide future product improvements.
Manage the product life cycle from launch through end of life, including release to production and transition planning gen-over-gen.
Buildcustomer, channel, andsales-orienteddeliverables based on customer insightsthat provide hard-hitting value propositions and key selling points.
Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop effective Go-to-Market strategies, product positioning, and sales enablement materials.
Educate teams across the organization on the global market and competitive landscape via key market data analysis, customer research studies, industry statistics/reporting, and channel/sales force feedback.
Establish operational view and communication cadence at all levels of the organization as well asfacilitate strategy and choice-point decisions with various leaders.
Work with product management and engineering teams toestablishexecution plan that includessolution recommendation, RD efforts, costs, NPI/global readiness, and time-to-market schedules.
Hands-on development that you will design and keep alive to:
1.) provide sales and market teams with clear communication of strategy, plan of action anddemand steering guidance.
2.) manage expectations of current efforts, readiness.
3.) provide key resources to sales and markets to drive customer acceptance and adoption.
Required Education Experience
BA or BS in marketing or technology field;post-graduate degree preferred.
10+ years product marketing, program management oroperational experience.
Detailed knowledge of product lifecycle planning, development,andGo-to-marketprocesses, and theinterdependent stepsrequiredto drive change.
Proven record of leading with ambition and ability to achieve results in a fast-moving, dynamicenvironment.
Knowledge and Skills:
Dynamic, enthusiastic leader with can-do attitude with ability to build, influence and manage cross-functional coreteams
Excellent written/oral/visual communications and analytical skills with ability to interact with all levelsof the companyin International English.
Energetic and organized facilitator with experience leading virtual workshops and collaboration
Ability to distill complex concepts into summarized points for executive consumption, direction, ordecision-making.
Proficiencyin storytelling and turning complex data and concepts into engaging and easy-to-understandvisuals.Expertisein PowerPoint and design a plus
Strong influencing, consensus-building, and conflict resolution skills.
