Responsibilities:
Provides overall cost intelligence including projections, trends, and drivers at the product and portfolio level to help drive business decisions. Ensures projections and costs are high confidence.
Drives cost reduction initiatives.
Performs and drives analysis of part, product and supply chain costs to provide visibility to cost drivers and opportunities for cost reduction.
Manages business models and analyses to support proactive supply chain operation activities & projects.
Clearly explains what changes have occurred between revisions of product costs and proactively identifies cost reduction opportunities.
Presents information clearly and effectively to management.
Creates, documents and improves cost tools and processes.
Builds strong working relationships with R&D, Finance, and Operations partners and management.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
Typically 2-4 years experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills.
Business analytics and/or programming skills or advanced Microsoft Office skills, or knowledge of analytical tools, models or methods for making business decisions
Ability to manage projects effectively.
Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
Ability to get things done in a complex environment.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $68,900.00 -- $106,100.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
