　　Our Global Services Products & Engineering (GPE) team builds services and tools that complement Akamai's products/offerings. We enhance the value of service products by adding proactive alerting capabilities & reporting on large datasets. Our team is responsible for building a highly available, horizontally scalable internal computing platform.

　　As a Product Architect you will make a direct impact to Akamai's Global Services product line. Akamai's GPE team is focused on continuously maximizing value for Akamai customers and simplifying end-to-end portfolio delivery. In this team, you will have the opportunity to help extend Akamai's presence within our customer base.

　　As a Product Architect, you will be responsible for:

　　Defining technical requirements for adapting and implementing new services into Akamai's current Service & Support offerings.

　　Designing business solutions in Salesforce, FinancialForce, Jira and other enterprise systems.

　　Partnering with Product Management in conceptualizing, architecting and releasing new products or enhancements to current products portfolio.

　　Designing solutions for internal and external systems and tools.

　　Defining end-to-end workflow with the technical understanding of all steps involved.

　　Collaborating with engineering, product and marketing teams to optimize customer touch points.

　　Representing the product and engineering team in technical review and approval processes of company's product development process.

　　To be successful in this role you will:

　　Have experience working in a high-tech, product development role or product architect or technical architect role.

　　Have experience in architecting end to end b2b/b2c products while ensuring performance, and scalability of solution.

　　Have exposure to big data technologies and data analytics technologies and frameworks.

　　Have experience with enterprise class web applications with exposure to workflow design and user experience design.

　　Have exposure to programming, large scale data processing technologies and data analytics tools.
