  In this position...

  The Product Anchor- Pega will work with individual Product Managers and Product Line Anchor and Enterprise Architects to iteratively deliver functionality by defining optimal design and develop software products particularly for Pega BPM framework. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong progressive experience with Pega DPA and PEGA PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander). Although this is a remote position, the ability to work EST hours is preferred.

  What you'll do...

  Provide engineering leadership as an Anchor to Global Warranty product lines within FCSD.

  The Global One Warranty Solution is a rules-based claims processing engine. The product Anchor will work with individual Product Managers to iteratively deliver functionality by defining optimal design and develop software products.

  Define and drive design and development for major components of focused solutions in Pega.

  Help business partners understand our iterative development approach and focus on delivering a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and releases.

  Design and deliver industry-leading products and services to maximize value and Ensures software engineering excellence (e.g. best practices and quality) is achieved within the product line.

  Collaborates with other Product Line Anchors to reduce complexity across the portfolio, enhance interoperability between services, and make key design decisions across the portfolio.

  Provide thought leadership for the development, structure, technology, and tools used within FCSD.

  Demonstrate software engineering excellence through actively coding, pairing, and performing code and architecture reviews with the software engineers within the product line.

  Designing class structures, application frameworks, and data models.

  Case Management, Access Group, Work Queue and Access Role

  Work on Complex flows such as Split Join, Spin Off and Pega’s Debugging tools

  Ensures technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices as defined by the team/organization/industry

  Has an advanced working experience PEGA PRPC V7.x/8.x tools and leads development activities

  Ability to translate business requirements into technical design/application builds

  Develop bug free quality code which maintain 90-97 Guardrail score.

  API based development (Connect/Service APIs) and Dynamic UI controls.

  Mentoring team members for ensuring smooth development and reviewing code

  Creating High level design and low-level design documentation

  Maintaining security of application

  Coordinating with the project team to ensure the business architecture matches the needs of the customer.

  Ability to Initiate or translate the product road map into manageable product features in the backlog through quarterly scoping sessions.

  Work hands-on with the product teams to prioritize, plan, and deliver the platform foundations capabilities.

  Attends FCSD Technology councils and cascades relevant information to appropriate members of their product line.

  Identifies areas within software delivery process and application ecosystem that require cohesion across the platform and addresses them through common engineering policies.

  Assess the technology feasibility of the product group roadmaps.

  Actively work to identify and remove/ mitigate risks and blockers to product delivery.

  You'll have...

  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience

  7 + years of software development experience preferably within an agile software methodology (Scrum, eXtreme Programming, Kanban, etc.)

  5 + years with Pega Software Engineering experience. At least one of these years must include Pega DPA and PEGA PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander).

  2 + years of experience in defining solution and leading and directing team on technologies.

  Even better, you may have...

  Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

  Certifications in PEGA PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) Pega CSA/CSSA / LSA – Part 01

  Experience in a LSA/Senior Developer role with a minimum team size of 4

  Exposure to Pega SaaS

  Must be able to operationalize and assist teams with abstract technology concepts.

  Strong demonstrated competencies on cloud and digital platforms.

  Experience with cloud services and platform knowledge.

  Demonstrated ability to drive development of highly technical technology services and capabilities.

  Experience with Lean methodology & eXtreme Programming.

  Demonstrated understanding and ability to drive API economy and solutions.

  Demonstrated understanding and ability to drive highly available consumer ready Internet properties and technical platforms.

  Experience collaborating with engineers, designers, and product owners.

  Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision making in a rapidly changing environment.

  Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to teach others.

  Technical expert who has experience building platforms and underlying services for re-use.

  Understands business priorities and technical feasibility to prioritize the platform backlog, identify dependencies, and manage risks.

  Ability to jump in and assist product lines and product teams to resolve technical blockers.

  Focus on delivering product value through reusable services and technologies that other product teams can leverage.
