  Job Duties:

  Under direct supervision, issues purchase orders in response to material requirements established by manufacturing, field operations, technology, or project management.

  Complies with and executes Category Management strategy in accordance with policies and procedures.

  Expedites, de- expedites and issues change orders to meet manufacturing, field plant or project demands.

  Analyzes and resolves basic Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt issues (GRIR) with assistance as needed.

  Assists in creating request for quotations (RFQ) and organizing competitive biddings from various suppliers to obtain the best quality, delivery, and price for goods and services.

  Assists in assessing supplier performance.

  Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.

  Supporting multiple product service lines and business teams by being their point of contact with third party suppliers and vendors.

  Develops trust of stakeholders, internal and external customers by establishing positive relationships while driving value.

  Collaborate with the product service lines to identify RFx opportunities including preparation of specifications and establishing a detailed scope of work, creating scorecords and facilitiation of supplier meetings.

  Manage local procurement activities and vendor performance with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

  Takes a hands on and proactive approach to collaborate with Operations, Category Managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective working relationships and successful outcomes.

  Leads spend alayses andidentifies, supports, and implements improvement opportunities to include; supplier identification, selection, and consolidation; negotiating favorable contract ters that includes pricing, quality, ervice, and availability; strategically sourcing regional categories.

  Gather, analyze, and interpret data to determine areas of purchasing priorities, and best path forard for RFx opportunities throughout the region.

  Primary administrator for the Procurement Card Program

  Follow up on the supply issues, vendor maintenance requests and work with suppliers on continued improvement.

  Qualifications:

  Completion of an undergraduate degree in a technical, business, or similar discipline required.

  SAP Purchase to Pay knowledge desirable.

  Experience with computers and Microsoft Suite programs required.
