At Snake River Manufacturing (SRM), Double L (SRM), we are a team ofsupply chain professionals that work together to ensure the smooth flowof materials throughout the company. We are looking for a new teammember who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has excellentcommunication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience workingin a supply chain, warehouse or logistics role and will be responsiblefor managing the flow of materials and information between engineering,warehousing, suppliers, and the production team. In this role, you willbe responsible for ensuring that materials are delivered on time and inthe correct quantities, and that requested orders are processedaccurately and efficiently.

Maintain up-to-date records of inventory levels, purchases, andshipments.
Monitor stock levels and identify ordering needs working with ourwarehouse team.
Release purchase orders after review of Bill of Materials (BOM)
Coordinate with suppliers to schedule deliveries and track progress ofincoming shipments.
Investigate and resolve issues with incorrect or damaged orders.
Prepare reports on supply chain activity.
Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
Negotiate contracts and discounts with suppliers.
Works directly with Finance on account/project cost updates.
Stay up to date on industry trends and developments.
Perform cost analysis and develop strategies to reduce expenses.
Tracking and managing inventory using computer systems or spreadsheetsto ensure that all items are accounted for.
Participate including conducting formal bid requests Invitation to Bid(ITB) or Request for Proposals (RFP)
Work directly with Purchasing /Supply Chain Manger for training andlearning activities.
Adhere to all Safety regulations.
Other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates within a Manufacturing Facility. Accuratehand/eye coordination is required. This role routinely uses computers,photocopiers, and both cell and landline phones. Frequent contact withstaff, vendors, and community members are to be expected.
