Description We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team in the Government sector located in Boynton Beach, Florida. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement processes, handling bids and tenders related to our ERP system, and ensuring the smooth functioning of purchasing activities.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the entire procurement process within the organization
• Efficiently handle the bids and tenders process for ERP systems
• Maintain and update accurate records of purchasing materials and processes
• Use ERP solutions to streamline purchasing functions and enhance efficiency
• Manage the purchasing department and ensure adherence to purchasing policies
• Handle customer service inquiries related to procurement
• Utilize tools such as 3M, Coupa, CRM, Microsoft Excel for procurement management
• Collaborate with other departments for budget processes and buying processes
• Ensure compliance with government procurement regulations
• Evaluate bid proposals, bid documents, and tender offers to make informed purchasing decisions. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a procurement role within a government setting
• Proven knowledge and experience with 3M, Coupa, CRM, ERP Solutions, and About Time
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with budget and buying processes
• Excellent customer service and invoicing skills
• Demonstrated experience in government procurement, including bid evaluation, bid documents, bid lists, bid management, bid packages, bid proposal, bid requests, bid solicitation, bid specifications, bid strategy, tender offers, and tenders
• Experience in purchasing activities, including familiarity with purchasing department functions, purchasing management, purchasing materials, and purchasing policies
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the job is located.
