Learn more about AIR's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategy and hear from our staff by clicking here.ResponsibilitiesThe Procurement Assistant requires handling the important administrative compliance functions of Data Entry, Database Management, Electronic Email-box Management and Federal, State & Local Reporting Requirements in various AIR and government systems. The responsibilities will include at least the following core tasks:Large Volume Support:Handle large volumes of procurement-related tasks efficiently and accurately.Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of attention to detail.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.Monitor and manage procurement-related emails and incoming New Supplier forms.Federal, State & Local Reporting Requirements:Stay abreast of and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local procurement reporting requirements Purchase Order/Subcontract Closeout assistance.Ensure files and policy documents are complete and up to date:Regularly review procurement files and policy documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.Collaborate with relevant teams to gather any missing or updated information.Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as Institutional needs and external markets evolve.Qualifications
