Requisition Summary
This position of Process Engineer will assist in the Study, Analysis, Development, Improvement and Documentation of Plant Assembly processes. The job also includes assistance in Continuous Improvement Efforts focusing on; Departmental Quality Improvement Projects, Ergonomic Improvement Projects, Line Balance Optimization and Improvements in Overall Departmental Efficiency.
This is primarily a day shift position, but may involve a split shift if needed.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
Study, Analyze and Improve Plant Assembly Processes
Record and Document Plant Assembly Processes
Flexibility to address special projects as they arise.
Assist in Continuous Improvement Efforts focusing on Departmental Improvement Quality and Delivery Projects
Line Balance Optimization
Ergonomic and Safety Improvement Projects
Robotics and/or IT Integration Efforts
Overall Departmental Efficiency and Effectiveness Improvements
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering and/or related field of study is required.
Six Sigma/Lean Certifications and practical training and/or Six Sigma/Lean project experience highly preferred.
Three years minimum manufacturing experience (exhibited process and product knowledge) is desired.
Hands on ability and Data Analysis skills a plus.
Familiarity or Knowledge of robotics and/or robotic systems also a plus.
Excellent technical, verbal, written and presentations skills.
Proven problem-solving skills are required.
Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment is preferred.
