A Process Engineer must have the ability to launch tooling, equipment and assembly processes for new and existing products that meet the customer and Vantage requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities
· Create new & optimize existing processes, work flows and documentation such as Work Instructions.
· Ability to trouble shoot and solve problems.
· Ability to work hands on implementing solutions. One or more of the following will be required: designing, fabricating, welding, wiring, and installing equipment and sensors, etc.
· Perform root causes and implement corrective actions.
· Implement ERC / ECNs as needed as well as other improvement projects.
· Complete the necessary documentation and training for processes and changes.
· Work with management to identify areas of improvement; set & reach company rocks/goals.
· Maintain a clean, organized, & safe working environment.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
· 4 year degree in Engineering or related field, required.
· 3-5 years of experience which includes formal training is strongly preferred in Lean Manufacturing tools, such as SMED, Standard Work, and Cellular Flow.
