　　Brown and Caldwell seeks a Senior Director to lead Design Delivery Staff onIntegrated Project Delivery (IPD) for Municipal Markets and for all DesignProjects in our Private Sector Markets in the Food & Beverage, LandfillLiquids, Oil & Gas, Chemical/Pharmaceutical, Mining,Manufacturing, Aerospace and Power sectors to ensure that all projectswithin their respective portfolio meet established metrics.Characteristics of the successful candidate include the proven ability tomanage a large multidiscipline design delivery professionals, maintain,leverage and expand their exceptional relationships with local and nationalresources and teams. The candidate shall have extensive project deliveryexperience to be able to assess project health and be able to help assist inthe development of a recovery plan.Detailed Description:The key objectives of the role include:Provide Delivery Teams to support the design client portfolios for all IPDProjects and Privates Sector Business Units.Teaming with Area and Service Line Leaders to ensure Design Services deliversto our client commitments.Oversee the interaction between your leadership team and the supportedBusiness Unit Area and Service Line Leaders to facilitate seamless businessplanning in coordination with the Design SVP to support respective marketdemands.Maintain balanced design resourcing across the design client portfolios insupport of all design projects including company top pursuits.Supporting and reinforcing adherence to the Chief Engineers application of BCquality policy and use of design standards and best practices uniformly acrossthe company.Team with and engage with the Portfolio Client Services Team to determinemarket needs for resource capabilities and capacity for upcoming designprojects.Helping design client portfolio teams achieve anticipated performance metricson design projects, which is directly aligned with P&L and operationalgoals (ex-sales, net revenue (NR) burn, and ELM) of the respectiveclient and portfolio in coordination with the DOL.Director of Design ResponsibilitiesImplement decisions impacting the respective Portfolio Delivery Teams toclosely follow DSE's Strategic Plan.Coordinate directly with Leaders (BU, Area, Local , and PMO)associated to the portfolio to:Coordination with Business Unit Leadership and other Market Sector Leads tounderstand the upcoming staffing and skill set needs.Support delivery of design projects helping to balance project talent demandsacross the company with complete delivery teams.Work with Leaders to support pursuits of large, complex and company-prioritydesign projects.Support PDMs and operations leadership in identifying and approvingappropriate Design Team. Coordinate to inform the respective Area LeadersStrategic Plan.Monitor the overall performance for the various operations design portfolioteams:Coordinate with PDM's to maintain rollup of master schedule of deliveryprojects, pursuits and milestones across the company.Coordinate with the PCE to drive compliance with BC and project specificdesign standards by the project delivery teams.Work with Area Leaders, Business Unit Leaders and National DisciplineLeaders to identify and address personnel, performance and process issues.Working with the Design Service Leadership team (Design Services Leader,Design Quality Leader, Design Operations Leader and National DisciplineLeaders) to facilitate improved organizational health and design servicesteam performance.Including development and implementation of various training and orientationprograms.Monitoring long-term trends in conjunction with DCE on quality and pricing sothat information can be used to make data-based business and operationaldecisions.Identifying and developing the next generation of Design Services Leadershipat all levels.Developing hiring plan to match DSE and Area Strategi Plans.Maintain and report Business Performance forecasts for respective Area.Engage regularly with employees and design services leadership across therespective portfolios to monitor org health employee satisfaction andproactively resolve issues.Desired Skills and Experience:20+ years of design or related experience preferred.15+ years' experience in project and/or design management preferred.P.E. required.Ability to productively lead and gain trust of delivery teams.Ability to provide exemplary customer service to Leaders (BU, Area,Local, and PMO) associated to the portfolio.Ability to facilitate project staffing decisions with all pertinentstakeholders.Ability to leverage company-wide technical resources and expertise.Good understanding of BC's project delivery standards.Ability to work well under pressure and competing deadlines.UT expectation: 40 percent.Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is$175,000 - $262,000 and may be more or less depending upon skills,experience, and education.Benefits and Other Compensation: We provide a comprehensive benefitspackage that promotes employee health, performance, and success whichincludes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, lifeinsurance, an employee assistance program, paid time off and parentalleave, paid holidays, 401(k) retirement savings plan with employermatch, performance-based bonus eligibility, employee referral bonuses,tuition reimbursement, pet insurance and long-term care insurance.
