We are expanding our teams at all levels to deliver on our top priority objectives.For this role, we're looking for a passionate, team-oriented, and talented Principal Technical Program Manager with experience leading complex technical cross-functional programs working with Product, Engineering and Sales. They will own and deliver on critical SVP and S-Team level goals, insisting on high standards from their partner engineering teams to deliver results.The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills and be able to identify problems and develop solutions. They must have strong analytical capabilities with a process improvement mentality. Cross-team coordination, project management, executive communication, and presentation skills are required.Key job responsibilities1) Own successful delivery of large, high impact and highly cross-functional product initiatives while simultaneously and accurately tracking a set of smaller projects2) Drive strategic cross-functional planning, leading discovery and prioritization by closely partnering with product managers and engineering leads to develop program plans that include roadmaps, dependency identifications, and resourcing plans3) Ascertain the true requirements underlying feature requests; recommend alternative technical approaches and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines4) Communicate clearly and effectively to executive management on plans, status, and critical issues5) Partner as a technical liaison between product and engineering teamsAbout the teamThe Amazon Publisher Monetization team is responsible for driving profitability of Amazon's owned and operated publishers through use of advertising. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market.
