Position Summary...

　　What you'll do...

We combine a range of services and expertise to find misconfigurations, old tools, and design flaws in the tools and processes we review. Our focus is on finding these potential issues before they are realized and impact the larger organization.

　　We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to be part of the WER team. The engineer will need to be able to lead review initiatives of security solutions as deployed by other teams as well as finding ways to enhance the review process utilized. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple domains within security like access control, identity management, endpoint controls, network security, etc. The engineers of the WER team will make recommendations that improve the overall security practices and operations for Walmart.

　　What you'll do:

　　Interact with solution owners to understand solutions as implemented.

　　Review configurations and processes for efficiency.

　　Review staffing to work product to make suggestions on team sizes.

　　Drive continuous monitoring to measure solution drift.

　　What you'll bring:

　　Experience with Linux and Windows servers

　　Experience in network security

　　Experience with OS configuration management tools preferred

　　Experience in Authentication services

　　Experience communicating with other engineers or managers

　　Experience reviewing documentation and implementation
