Position Description:Designs, builds, implements, and maintains Web and mobile experiences. Authors solution requirements, user stories, and system specifications for moderate to complex software systems using SQL. Designs Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using REST Protocol, JSON Schema, and REST Client tools (Postman). Develops end-to-end systems solutions in an Agile environment. Consults with management to ensure agreement on system principles. Provides analysis leadership on complex systems analysis projects, across subsystems and companies, in a matrix organization. Consults with business users to develop recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities.Primary Responsibilities:· Designs to meet complicated requirements, improve performance, or reduce costs of ownership.· Leads and conducts interviews with business users to gather requirements.· Analyzes technology needs and system and workflow challenges.· Develops recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities. · Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex systems analysis projects and defines project scope.· Leads the execution of documents on large and complex projects and monitors the quality and progress of documents created by other analysts.· Designs new systems based on requirements.· Leads and participates in the definition of test strategies and coordinates user acceptance testing efforts.· Communicates progress of multiple projects to management, engages stakeholders on a regular basis, and manages expectations of internal and external stakeholders.· Serves as industry subject matter expert and identifies other subject matter experts who are the sources of requirements for large and complex projects.· Works with other teams to evolve standards and best practices for systems analysis processes.· Participates in incident/crisis management to assess business impact, determine/facilitate any workarounds, in concert with the production support organization.· Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies.· Coaches and mentors junior product analysts and developers on systems analysis techniques and business workflows. Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) performing business or systems analysis in a financial services environment. Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) performing business or systems analysis in a financial services environment.Skills and Knowledge:Candidate must also possess:· Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) analyzing, documenting, and designing Cloud based workload using Amazon Web Service (AWS), Lambda, Dynamo DB, Aurora, and Amazon S3 for File storage; implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline processes using Jenkins and uDeploy; and creating Groovy scripts for CI pipeline to publish to Artifactory.· DE analyzing the end-to-end flow of Web application built in Rest API, using Spring boot, JSON, Java, Postman, and documentation of APIs using confluence, MS Applications, JIRA, and Agile methodology.· DE performing systems analysis and design -- gathering requirements, documentation, performing data mining, and functional design -- using MS VISIO, draw.io, JIRA, MS Applications, Visual studio code, and Intellij; analyzing system dependencies for Angular JS based User Interfaces (UIs), Rest APIs, and backend Oracle databases, using SQL queries with SQL developer, Db2 querying with Data Studio, Oracle Native Stored procedures, and COBOL Stored Procedures.· DE developing batch and mainframe based online applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, Mainframe IBM MQ, DB2 running MVS/ZOS operating system, and Rumba terminal; and performing recording and playback for Stress testing and querying/preparing data for Stress/Performance testing using, Data Studio, Mainframe DB2, and Mainframe Hiperstation (HPER).Salary: $157,768.00 - $167,768.00/year.
