Blue Canyon Technologies (BCT), a wholly owned subsidiary of Raytheon, has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Finance Lead within our Components and Operations Finance team. This position will lead and support the Components product line, which supplies components internally and externally to our customers. This position provides a great opportunity to positively impact and shape the Operations finance organization within BCT by: leading the quarterly UOD (unit of delivery) EAC process, overseeing factory overhead cost allocation WIPPRO, and assisting in front end of the business estimating and pricing discussions with PMs, Contracts, and BD. In this role, you will have opportunities to work independently, as well as collaborate with key functional stakeholders. You will demonstrate an aptitude for efficiency, problem-solving, and resourcefulness, with a commitment to quality while developing their leadership skills as a key business partner. This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories) and be in commutable distance to Boulder, CO.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Development of quarterly UOD EACs; analysis/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data.
Lead creation of 4+ EACs per quarter, responsible for multiple projects at once
Development and maintenance of factory OH support factors; analysis/assist in accurate position of component support factors.
Cost control and variance analysis, internal/external reporting, risk management and financial support.
Provide PMO with in-depth, transactional-level detail of costs, must possess knowledge of cost flow through ERP system to trace/explain activity through functional areas.
Assist with labor reporting, accounting data extraction and reconciliation, labor and cost transfer submittals.
Support creation of streamlined business processes for commercial Components business line.
Assist with organization of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and job cost accumulation.
Assist in monitoring costs and labor to ensure that actuals are within budget and charged to the correct end objective.
Develop and present briefing of operational financial status to internal customers.
Support new business estimation activities; termination liability, EOC level estimation and analysis.
Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to program financials.
Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Assist cross-functionally in knowledge sharing for ERP conversion from legacy system to SAP.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree and 3 years' applicable experience. Preferred degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or Mathematics.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Experience with Excel (to include Lookup/Index/Sum functions and pivot tables).
Experience in PRISM
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience or exposure to performing cost control and analysis functions in a U.S. Government, multi-CLIN contracting environment.
Ability to manage priorities in order to meet deadlines.
Possess good oral and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and work quality.
Knowledge of concepts and techniques related to program controls.
Additional Information:
This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, FP&A.
This is an individual contributor position.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee will be expected to travel to the site location as needed. For this particular position, the selected candidate can expect to travel to site on average 3 business days/month.
Relocation assistance is not available.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
