As the Principal Site Reliability Engineer/ Cloud Engineer, you will engage in and improve the software development/deployment lifecycles from inception and design, through development, deployment, and operation.
Responsibilities:
Hands-on Full Stack Engineer, to lead and drive SaaS solutions design, development contributing to the product roadmap, customer success and growth.
Ensure all non-functional aspects of solutions address in the product releases and deployments, including scalability, availability, security, maintainability, and supportability
Remediate tasks within corrective action plan via sustainable, preventative, and automated measures that meet SLAs/SLOs/SLIs.
Monitor key performance metrics; Develop SLOs And SLIs through customer journey; APM / Monitoring Tool integrations (Dynatrace); telemetry
Maintain services during deployment and in production by measuring and monitoring key performance and service level indicators including availability, latency, and overall system health
Create and maintain design and architectural artifacts. Ensure uniform architecture and design standards are maintained
Promote strong collaboration with cross functional teams including data engineering, UX and Product Management.
Conduct research/POC on relevant emerging technologies in support of solution development efforts and make recommendations
Strengthen our product engineering capabilities, build appropriate processes, standardized methodologies, leverage proper tech tools, review and mentor coding activities, lead DevOps functions, etc.
Build and maintain status as a developer of novel and creative solutions to build business and bring positive attention to technologies and services
Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
May supervise the activities of others
Qualifications:
Mnimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree required
10+ years of experience
Experience in designing and implementing software applications
Experience developing and/or administering software in cloud infrastructure
Experience in software design languages- example; Python, Ruby, Bash, Perl
Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge with systems, storage, networking, security, and databases
System administration skills, including automation and orchestration of environments and/or containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree preferred
Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability to ensure functional and performance objectives
Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Expertise designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
Experience managing Infrastructure as code via tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
A passion for automation with a desire to eliminate toil whenever possible
Experience building software or maintaining systems in a highly secure, regulated, or compliant industry
Experience and passion for working within a DevOps team culture

Salary: USD 150400.00 - USD 225600.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
