　　DescriptionDiesel Mechanic - Day and Night Shifts Available

　　Work in a small, but expanding fast-moving team environment with a short turnaround time for getting trucks and trailers ready for the next morning's routes. Duties performed by the team include basic servicing to maintain the equipment, performing brake jobs, doing trailer repairs, clutch adjustments and repairs, cooling system repairs, and more. Internal, on-the-job training is done to help improve the team, and additional outside training may be available as training opportunities come available with our partners, or as needs dictate.

　　Night Shift: Sun - Thurs Nights; 6pm - 5am, averaging 50-55 hours/week

　　Day Shift: Mon - Fri; 6am - 5pm, day every other Sat averaging 50-55 hours/week

　　Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Repairing and maintenance of fleet vehicles, ensuring meets safety and performance requirements.Servicing of fleet vehicle per required schedulesDiagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues and make necessary repairs, adjustments or replacements.Performing roadside repairs and adjustmentsPerforming routine housekeeping duties to ensure working location and equipment are in order and not pose safety hazardsEnsuring the safety devices on vehicles are in good orderOther duties as necessaryPhysical Requirements:

　　Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbsAbility to occasionally lift up to 100lbsRegularly performing work requiring standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing and working in awkward positions and tight areasOther Requirements:

　　1 year of experience performing repair and maintenance on heavy trucks and diesel engine vehicles, equipment and related components is preferredAbility to use repair manuals, online services, wiring (electrical) diagrams, and schematics to troubleshoot or repair vehicle or component failure.Valid driver's license, CDL preferred, for roadside assistance help and to test drive equipment as necessaryGood driving recordBasic computer skillsMust possess necessary tools to perform assigned tasksRequired Education:
